We’re celebrating the beginning of summer with our friends at Sapling Gin, a fellow planet-positive brand making spirits with regeneratively-grown wheat from Wildfarmed.
We’ve joined forces to make this refreshing citrus cocktail – delicious chamomile, lemon balm, and lavender, fused with refreshingly zesty hits of juniper. It’s perfect for the long summer evenings ahead.
To make the cocktail:
Makes 4
25ml lemon juice
25ml sugar syrup
50ml water
2 x Kib chamomile, lemon, lavender teabags
75ml Sapling Gin
Method:
- To make the simple syrup; in a small saucepan over high heat combine the sugar and water until it dissolves. Once it comes to a boil, turn the mixture off, ensuring the sugar has dissolved.
- To make the tea mixture; Leave the chamomile, lemon, lavender tea bags to steep in 50ml of hot water. Allow to cool completely before removing the tea bags.
- To make the cocktail, combine the sugar syrup, gin, lemon juice, and tea mixture in a shaker. Shake vigorously for a slow count of 15, pour into a glass, and garnish with violets.
